How to Create a Screen Shot:

Creating a screen shot is a very easy process. All you need is your standard keyboard and Microsoft Word (or even Wordpad) installed on your computer.

Go through the necessary steps in TRACCS until you get the problem screen or error message on the computer screen.

Press the Prt Scr (short for Print Screen) button on your keyboard. This is normally located near or above the numeric keypad - but may be in slightly different positions on different keyboards.

When you press the Prt Scr button - a copy of your screen will be stored in the computer memory/clipboard.

Open Word - and when a blank document displays - use the mouse to click on the Edit menu option at the top of the screen - and then select the Paste option with your mouse.

A copy of the screen you were working on will appear in the document.

Save the documents with whatever name you like (eg Support1.Doc).

If you are creating your support request in your normal email system - create a new email addressed to support@adamas.net.au - supplying the normal details of the problem, then use your email system to insert the document from above as an attachment to the email - and then send.
